$ sudo apt-get install hpijs
Provide the terminal output if anything goes wrong.

This is from a fresh install
It was ok before the beta i have used alpa3/4/5
it was in the new printer menu before
I do not know what hpijs is, never had to install it before

It looks like you don't have the hpijs package installed.
Can you select HP DeskJet 5740 printer after installing hpijs?
Did you do a fresh installation of Hardy?
