Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libdbd-odbc-ruby
Attempting to connect through an ODBC connection using Ruby 1.8.6 (2007-06-07 patchlevel 36) [i486-linux] on Gutsy 7.10 fails with the message ODBC::Error: INTERN (0) [RubyODBC]Cannot allocate SQLHENV See also http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?format=multiple&id=179764 -- The use of ruby-odbc on Gentoo Hardened leads to "INTERN (0) [RubyODBC]Cannot allocate SQLHENV (ODBC::Error)". The gentoo bug was reported in May 2007. A patched version of ruby-odbc for Ubuntu would be greatly appreciated.
