Xubuntu 9.04 + all updates.
When I plug my camera - PowerShot A620. It does not mounted in File Manager
(Thunar).
When I launch F-Spot, I need to select my camera in source list for import -
works fine, no problems.

from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal). It will

Hi Daniel- I have an update on this for Jaunty. I have a completely up-
to-date system as of Feb 11, 2009 19:50 EST.
When I plug in my camera, it appears on the Desktop three times. One is
the root directory of the camera containing two folders
(store_00010001 and store_8001), then the other

Same thing happens for me with Canon Powershot SD550 on 8.10. The device
shows up in lsusb, but is not mounted and doesn't show up in /media. The
same camera used to work in 7.10.

Sorry it took me a while to respond. I had to hunt for batteries. Here's
what happens now. I'm on Intrepid. Haven't tried Jaunty, but I may
install a partition soon and will report back. It seems to be fixed in
Intrepid, however, so I assume it works OK in Jaunty.
Plug in the camera. Media box
Xubuntu 8.10 on dell Vostro 1510. Camera Canon PowerShot A620 is not
visible in filemanager.
