Having forced the command mtp-detect . I have this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo udevmonitor -e
[sudo] password for fred:
udevmonitor will print the received events for:
UDEV the event which udev sends out after rule processing
UEVENT the kernel uevent
UEVENT[1208016659.337775] add /devic
It looks like it's detected just fine?
Could you unplug your phone, run "sudo udevmonitor -e" then plug your
phone back in in MTP mode and provide the output of that command.
