Title:
Fast scrolling with the wheel induces "jump" backward

This bug was fixed in the package abiword - 2.6.6-0ubuntu1
---
abiword (2.6.6-0ubuntu1) jaunty; urgency=low
* New upstream release.
(LP: #318444, #300538, #297137, #117064, #215845,
#191194)
* debian/patches:
- drop 03_nosmoothscroll_default, not needed anymore.
In order for it to be backported, it must first exist in the current
development version (Jaunty, at the time of writing). That, in turn
probably requires it to be in Debian.
You may wish to file a bug on the Debian bug tracker asking for abiword
2.6.6 to be packaged, noting that this bug is fixed
http://uwog.net/news/?p=23
Abiword 2.6.6 seems to fix this issue. I hope it will be backported to
Intrepid.

Indeed, the bug is still present in Intrepid. And because Abiword 2.6 is
now official in Intrepid, it's quite annoying. For some users, abiword
is nearly unusable. For others, it's just annoying to very annoying.
If there's a fix, I really think it should hit intrepid-update (or at
least backport)
