Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mythtv
After setting VNC to enable or reconfigure and setting a password (I haven't tried disabled) -- when you click apply the system hangs on the progress bar. The following information is provided if mcc is started from a terminal window: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/MythbuntuControlCentre/core.py", line 1344, in apply_pressed call_applicator(self,to_install,to_remove,to_reconfigure) File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/MythbuntuControlCentre/core.py", line 1331, in call_applicator apply.commit_changes() File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/MythbuntuControlCentre/changer.py", line 248, in commit_changes self.process_configuration() File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/MythbuntuControlCentre/changer.py", line 470, in process_configuration self.vnc.toggle_xorg(False) File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/mythbuntu_common/vnc.py", line 63, in toggle_xorg have_modules = len(self.xorg_conf.getSections("module")) > 0 AttributeError: 'tuple' object has no attribute 'getSections' Killing the mcc is the only way to close the window -- and the vnc changes are not in effect. When you kill the mcc, the following information is presented in the terminal: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/mythbuntu-control-centre/bin/mythbuntu-control-centre", line 47, in <module> script.run() File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/MythbuntuControlCentre/core.py", line 205, in run gtk.main() KeyboardInterrupt ** Affects: mythtv (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- mythbuntu-control-center hangs when enabling or reconfiguring vnc https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216440 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
