The attached file does NOT work for me on Intrepid, it still pops up a
dialogue asking to search for a RealVideo 3.0 codec. It appears that
libgstreal.so is not included with the amd64 package.

Attached file works for me in Ubuntu Intrepid. Upstream also seem to
think it is fixed.

I can't also play RV4 files with totem (the packages you listed are all
installed). Most of the time they work with xine / totem-xine though.
