Just wanted to let you guys know that I typed in "sudo apt-get install
linux-headers-server linux-headers-$(uname -r)" and I was able to
install the nvidia drivers from envyng without any problems. I was even
able to start playing urban terror! Thanks for the help.

then launch EnvyNG again and try to install the driver again.
Then restart.

It appears to be working. The only glitch is 3d acceleration is disabled
or is not supported by this build of Ubuntu/Kubuntu - it worked while
under restricted drivers in previous versions - it doesn't seem to be

Cesare: ok, I did it. Thanks.
Robert: it looks like you're trying to install the ATI driver (with
automatic hardware detection) even though you're using a NVIDIA card.
Try selecting the option which says "Install the NVIDIA driver" instead.
