Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
In the "Sound"-tab of gnome-sound-properties I have a checkbox called "Play system sounds". One might think that this is a system-wide setting but in fact it only deals with the below listed sounds. Other system components like gdm or gnome-power-management will play sounds even if unchecked. That's why I suggest to rename the checkbox label and the label for the sound list to something less ambigious not containing the word "system" like "Play event sounds" or "Play notification sounds". ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Rename system sound option in gnome-sound-properties https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/218685 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
