Reinstalled ubuntu and everything shows up fine. This was strange
behaviour, but I have no idea what triggered this. I can't reproduce
this bug, so I guess it won't go anywhere useful.

Yes.. i figured that this wasn't a generic bug.. Else it would have been
noticed earlier.. There's probably something specific about my system
that triggers this bug.. But i have no idea whatsoever about what
triggers this bug.
Can anyone tell me what info is needed for this bug?

df and mount output.
