The original reporter noted that his bug was fixed in Hardy final, some
time ago. I'm not able to reproduce this on Jaunty, and there has been
no further activity from anyone else in a couple of months. I'm marking
this bug fix released now. Please reopen with specific reproduce
If you're running Hardy, could you please test this using the kvm-84 package in
this PPA:
* https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-virt/+archive/ppa
Does this solve the issue, or is it reproducible?

There's also a chance that this bug is a duplicate of the spinlock fix
associated with Bug #335097.
It would be great if someone could test this in Hardy with that kernel.

I am also using virt-manager. The problem occurs during the installation
of Windows XP Prof.

Hardy final, 64 bit. I have this problem. Using kvm via virt-manager ,
either 32 or 64 bit emulation.

I was able to start kvm again, using the same command-line, and the same
sequence of events seemed to trigger the hang again. Here's what I did:
1. kvm -hda ReactOS.qcow2 -net nic,model=ne2k_pci -net user
2. wait for the ReactOS desktop to appear
3. open the desktop Command Line icon
4. enter the
