Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
Ubuntu 8.04 beta 20/04/08. Nautilus 2.22.2. Stand-alone Ubuntu machine amidst an W2K ADS. To reproduce - Open 'Network' from 'Places' menu. Navigate through 'Windows Network' - 'DomainController' - We are prompted for user/password at this point so all ok so far. List of shares on the machine is shown but some cannot be accessed. Whn you try to open them the error message is 'The folder contents could not be displayed' and 'Invalid Argument'. This appears to happen if folder has a large number of sub-directories and files. I tried with KDE4 and Dolphin gives a 'Folder does not exist' error when one tries to open any of the problem folders.
