Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

Seriously, this is getting somewhat annoying, as this bug has been
around since the release of Gutsy. It appears to be "Bug #108527" but
quite honestly, that report does no longer make any sense.

Problem is:
- The computer freeze randomly, usually after 10-30 minutes, while Compiz is
enabled and I'm using an ATI X300SE (PCI-e in desktop computer).
- It does NOT freeze using an other graphics card (such as the build in Intel
9...something).
- It does NOT freeze when Compiz is disabled.
- Graphics freeze, often with some glitch (for example, some menu is only
half-drawn or the viewport switcher in the corner turns invisible).
- Mouse cursor still moves, music still plays.
- This occurs in Gutsy and Hardy (upgraded from Gutsy).

Tell me what more information you need and I will do my best to supply
it.

** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
