A workaround is to run Firefox in safe mode:
firefox -safe-mode
If you run in safe mode and go to the site that crashes, it
German online banking at www.sparkasse-koelnbonn.de is also affected.

I got this with http://www.hotel-modesto.com/
I can't provide a strace log as firefox and then the entire OS interface
locked and I had to alt-ctrl-backspace to get out of it.

This crash happens here, too.
Seems to be a flash-specific issue, since disabling the flash plugin
allows me to use meebo.com.
Flash plugin version is
File name: libflashplayer.so

This crash happens only
I'm experiencing this crash with Firefox and Meebo.com on a fully up-to-
date Hardy Heron i386 system. YouTube works fine, as do the Javascript-
heavy NetVibes and Gmail, and the lightly-scripted Roundcube Webmail.
A few retries later, and some general usage on other sites, and I am
able to load
I can't reproduce this for meebo.com, perhaps because there is no flash
on their front page, but I can reproduce this by visiting
http://www.homestarrunner.com. Like Adam, YouTube works without issues.
about:plugins shows the flash plugin is provided by libflashplayer.so -
