two things:
1. " ... $http_proxy environment?"? what is that ?
2. i have this bug for some time and i did not managed to find a
solution to it so i am ignoring it. do you have a hint?

Installing new version of config file /etc/defoma/hints/msttcorefonts.hints ...
These fonts were provided by Micro
ups, forgot about the bug. I have attached the following files inside:
term.log
main.log
apt.log
apt-term.log
the corrected host file is attached too. the first line was corrected to:
127.0.0.1 shaula-laptop
instead of (if i recall correctly):
127.0.0.1 localhost

The problem was resolved based on:
http://ph.ubuntuforums.com/showthread.php?p=4480244 and another webpage that i
lost
in System-Administration-Network-Hosts i renamed localhost to its original
computer name.
this step solved the issue.
