In hardy GNOME with genpo 0.9.6+dfsg.1-0ubuntu2, menu, and menu-xdg packages installed, I did not experience the described issue with not showing additional items in the menus. Installing the update gave genpo an icon in the Debian menu, and did not appear to affect genpo operation. -- broken

I can also verify that whilst menu entries are not lost when the original h ardy version of genpo is installed, genpo's icon does not show in the Debian menu structure. Installing the version of genpo from hardy-proposed/updates allows the icon to be shown. ** Description changed: Binary
