Thank you for your bug report. That's not a nautilus issue though but
the default unix behaviour and changing that could have security
implications

Is there a way were the user can execute these applications after he/she
applies the 'Allow executing as a program' checkmark without having to
open the terminal and running ./foo.bin ?
For example, once the user applies the permissions with nautilus, he/she
can now just double click the file and
clicking on a file which is +x normally displays a dialog asking if you
want to view or run it, that seems to be broken in the new nautilsu
though, there is a bug about that registered
