True, but unless someone goes to their site they'd probably never know.
Heck I didn't even know, was busy scouring the Ubuntu forums to find a
fix!
I think a future release might need a GUI step added to the initial
setup and/or perhaps a way to change the number of channels via a
program/script u
Confirmed. But note that the FAQ on pulseaudio.org says that this is
intentional, since many onboard soundcards come with 5.1 support but the
user has only 2 speakers connected.
