The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

As requested, all of these are with normal boot parameters. At 229 I
start 'cheese', a program to take pictures with a webcam; at 249 I try
loading the driver for my wireless card (from
http://www.datanorth.net/~cuervo/rtl8187b/ )

Per the kernel team's bug policy, can you please attach the following
information. Please be sure to attach each file as a separate
attachment.
* cat /proc/version_signature > version.log
* dmesg > dmesg.log
* sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log
Also, care to capture your dmesg output
Upon further testing, it appears that my USB devices work with mem=2G
also- which is weird, because I would have expected odd things to happen
after 0x4000, not 0x8000.
Are there any more diagnostics I can perform? I understand that fglrx
taints the kernel, is there any way of booting wit
