With regard to your comment about manual partitioning, while there's no
explicit *option* for dual booting in that the steps aren't clearly laid
out for you, you can do it by editing a partition, changing its size to
something smaller, and then creating partitions for Ubuntu in the space
created

Bugs,
The other operating systems should get automatically added to grub's
menu even if you used manual partitioning. It just does not prompt you
that but does it silently.
