Public bug reported: I ran Feisty with no problems on my laptop (Panasonic Let's Note R6). After installing Hardy, the machine would quickly overheat and lock up whenever I did anything taxing the CPU's.
In an attempt to find the cause (and make the machine useable) I booted with the last Feisty kernel (2.6.22) left from before the upgrade. The machine works just fine with that change.
