Dear Carthik, thanks for your enquiry. My entire computer configuration has changed. I have a completely new computer and printer. Furthermore, I switched to KDE (Kubuntu, Edgy) and so, I'm not using Evince by default any more.
Hence, I cannot answer your question. But so far, printing is working more or less fine.
