I'm getting a problem where snd-hda-intel loads and detects my HDMI out,
but not the normal outputs I used to have. Is that related? Things
worked fine with Ubuntu 8.10, and they stopped on update to Jaunty

I think half the problem with my mic port is that I have no Gain controls and
the other necessary controls.
I am using Intrepid at the moment.
