Binary package hint: debian-installer
While running a server install of 8.04 i had numerous issues with the
install freezing.
I had a usb keyboard plugged into the system, and if i typed on it while
packages were installing or configuring, the install seemed to freeze.
I can provide hardware details if it helps.
