I have tested Ubuntu Intrepid Alpha 5 and Kubuntu Intrepid Alpha 5, both with
2.6.27 kernel.
XF86WWW not working. no events in xev util.
Is it kernel bug? on 7.10 it worked..

In Alpha4 for Intrepid Ibex 8.10 (2.6.26-5.15 kernel) bug present.
XF86WWW not working, no events in xev util.
In kubuntu 8.04.1 when i press this button in ACPI log in KSystemlog I
see:

I can confirm this on a Samsung P35 notebook. Just X86WWW is not working
since 8.04.
