KMilo, KDE3, and Kubuntu 8.04 are all pretty much unmaintained now.
Unfortunately this means that they will not be seeing any more bugfixes. We
appreciate your issues all the same, and thank you for taking the time to
report this bug in the first place.

I am really lucky I've just found the solution. It is really easy: just
assign a shortcut XF86AudioMedia to the Amarok (for example through the
right click in KDE Menu) and that's it.

Forgot to mention, I'm using a Compal HEL80, if that helps.
Also, this action opened up Amarok in Feisty with KDE 3.5.9.
