module with ... disable_hw_scan=1 ... otherwise try the linux-backport-
modules

I've tried to connect to another AP and it works. I have a Linksys
WRT54G v3.1 with firmware DD-WRT v23 SP2 (09/15/06) vpn.
Now, I'm going to change the AP's firmware and see what happends :s

I have a similar problem with Intel 3945 (laptop) and Ralink
2500(desktop computer). Each one is in a different computer and both are
using hardy. They enter in a loop. But in my case with intel 3945 it
never connects and with Ralink 2500 it sometimes connects but for a
limited period of time.
