Hi, Okay I installed the version from the repository now. I did find a
crash report in /var/crash which I submitted using the auto facility.
The bug report is

Hi,
The reason Apport doesn't generate a crash report is because you're not
running a version of linuxdcpp that is packaged by Ubuntu. Could you try
with the version that is in the repositories please?

I've enabled apport in the file /etc/default/apport and followed the
steps that crashes the application everytime. But it doesn't seem to
pick up anything.
When i change the user in the terminal using "su" I get segmentation
fault as the last line. If I use gksudo then then it just dies. Please

Sorry for the late reply. Just wondering do I just need to enable apport
and then replicate the crash (so it picks up the crash on its own and
reports it?)? Or do I need to change some other config?
