I have found that Puppy Linux 4.08 has solved the problem. I am not enough of a programer to know what they have done or if it will work if I coppied it to Ubunto. Puppy works, Ubunto runs the "Input not supported" error for a while before the Log In Screen comes up. -- Monitor input not suppor
