Binary package hint: vim-latexsuite

Installing vim-latexsuite should via the "filetype plugin on" go into
latex mode when opening .tex files. It does not however. It seems like
gvim does not know about it. The files are there though as you can see
from the ls output below. However, vim-addons claims that it is not
installed as you also can see below.

Output from "ls /usr/share/vim/addons/ftplugin" :
