Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vim-latexsuite
Installing vim-latexsuite should via the "filetype plugin on" go into latex mode when opening .tex files. It does not however. It seems like gvim does not know about it. The files are there though as you can see from the ls output below. However, vim-addons claims that it is not installed as you also can see below. Output from "ls /usr/share/vim/addons/ftplugin" : bib_latexSuite.vim latex-suite tex tex_latexSuite.vim Output from "vim-addons status latex-suite" : # Name User Status System Status latex-suite removed removed Output from "apt-cache policy vim-latexsuite" : vim-latexsuite: Installed: 20060325-4.1 Candidate: 20060325-4.1 Version table: *** 20060325-4.1 0 500 http://se.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status System information: * Ubuntu 8.04 ** Affects: vim-latexsuite (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Package vim-latexsuite does not go into latex mode when opening a tex file in gvim https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230647 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
