btw, i went in synaptic, and although a lot of other packages related to
openoffice have been installed, the openoffice.org package itself
isnt.
i was never aware of uninstalling anything, so i think its like that on
a default install

i dont think this bug has been fixed, its happening with me, right now.
im also using 8.04 i386 with latest updates stuff. i have not added
many packages, and removed none. all of the packages that were added
have nothing to do with OOo, unless it was an update, cause i downloaded
all of the
