I am also running into this bug. Ubuntu 8.04 with all updates as of Jun
25, 2008.
I inserted a 16MB CompactFlash memory card (filesystem type msdos) and I
am unable to rename the volume.

Three users have reported the bug, it is easily repeatable. Switching to
confirmed.

got three internal hard drives 80 gig mounted /media/VirtualMachines,
250 gig mounted /media/HardDrives, 1tb mounted /media/Backups
Displayed on desktop as 76.0 GB Media, 250.7 GB Media, 1000.2 GB Media

I have available for test.
