It seems that the issue lies with the extension or plugins.
Could you use back your original profile ($ firefox -P) and disable all
plugins and extensions (Tools->Add-ons->Plugins/Extension). Then enable
one by one and see if it still crashes.
It will be great if you can provide a stack trace too
I followed the instructions on the wiki and created a new profile. This
fixed the crash, at least I was able to see the contents of the page.
Do you still want me to continue troubleshooting the bug and to provide
a stack trace and answers to you questions?
