I have talked about with some other friends and also have this problem.
We all have in common Ubuntu Hardy in Spanish (maybe something wrong
with location?).

Same behavior here. My 8.04 version was upgraded from 7.10 with dist-
upgrade. Nautilus does not crash for me on Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V but with
Edit->Copy and Edit->Paste with folder `foo' selected.
