I can confirm this issue myself, and am including an Xorg.0.log and my xorg.conf. This doesn't seem to only be related to turning off the keys -- I tend to leave my laptop on for 5-7 days before a reboot, and typically after day 2-4 I will lose the scroll. I have figured out purely by accident
