Public bug reported: I have set texdoc environment variables in ~/.bashrc to handle online display of documentation on my Kubuntu Hardy system so:
TEXDOCVIEW_dvi="/usr/bin/kdvi %s" export TEXDOCVIEW_dvi TEXDOCVIEW_pdf="/usr/bin/kpdf %s" export TEXDOCVIEW_pdf TEXDOCVIEW_html="firefox %s" export TEXDOCVIEW_html After installing luatex, and invoking texdoc for a PDF manual, I got the error message: sh: xpdf: not found The problem disappeared after removal of luatex. So, obviously, there is some crosstalk betwen luatex and texlive-base-bin which furnishes texdoc. ** Affects: luatex (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Installing luatex causes bugs in texdoc https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/232260 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
