Sohail, I'm afraid I can't help beyond pointing you at the likely cause.
Suspend/resume is a common problem with NVidia and ATI proprietary
graphics drivers.

Hmmm...I can't say I do know that stage, I'm afraid.
Well, there's one good way to test: disable the proprietary graphics
drivers, restart, then suspend and resume. If it still happens, it must
be related to something else.
