It looks like this was fixed in tkdesk 2.0.-9.1:
* Switched off components autoloading and added patch
http://tkdesk.sourceforge.net/patches/tkdesk-2.0p2.patch by upstream
to make tkdesk working with itcl3 version 3.3 or newer.
and that's been in everything after Hardy; Hardy is only
TkDesk does not work with the new libraries, even when I export their
locations. I got it to run again with a workaround: I removed the
packages for blt, itcl, tk and tcl, downloaded the Hardy versions and
installed them with dpkg.
TkDesk 2.0-9 runs with:
blt_2.4z-4ubuntu1
itcl3_3.2.1-3.1
I also am getting Segmentation Fault, output from a terminal...I am now
running Intrepid, and the fix for Hardy does not work for version
8.10...
If anyone finds a fix, please let me know...
