Public bug reported: when I choose shutdown -> Hibernate I end up with a black screen, one line: (I think those first numbers are somewhat random)

I'm using an Acer TM8106wlmi but according to the only thread on the topic I could find http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=5019757 this error can also occur on Thinkpad T42p and Dell Inspiron E1505. I'm attaching dmesg output (from after restart) and will provide you with any addidional information - if you tell me what you need. Right now I'm using the latest fglrx drivers from Ati (8.5) $ fglrxinfo display: :0.0 screen: 0 OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
