Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
Hello, I: * switch to the /tmp directory * right-click the files view, and choose "new folder", or "new file". * a new file/folder appears, selected for name editing, but after about a second the name editing stops, and the file/folder gets the regular selection. This is very confusing - I start to type, and then discover that my typing searches for a file instead of renames the directory. This happens only in the /tmp directory, and only in icon view, not in list view. Thanks, and have a good day, Noam ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nautilus quits file name editing after creating a new file/directory in the /tmp directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/234167 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
