Hi, if you can confirm this bug still is present in gutsy would be
great, also please provide this info
sudo dpkg -l kdebase
after that it would be confirmed as itś been confirmed by several
users.

I can confirm this bug still occurs in Fiesty and KDE 3.5.6, but ONLY
when Google Suggest is on. If GS is on for only Google searches, the bug
will only happen when searching with Google in the search bar; and for
all searches when GS is turned on for all searches.

Feisty & KDE 3.5.6 & Konqueror google searchbox - bug still exists
When typing text in the search box, it always moves the cursor to the
end of the line, when it has finished the search for proposed search
keywords.
So if I type something, move cursor for example to beginning, in a
moment it jump
