Binary package hint: flite
The flite binary (flite_1.2-release-2.2build1) included in Ubuntu 8.04
is compiled without alsa support. Using the aoss application it is
possible to hear realtime text-to-speech. But perhaps compiling with
CST_AUDIO_ALSA would be a better fix.
