Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pidgin

When waiting for a response from a friend, if I focus on another window like a
browser, the chat window is hidden.
If the friend responds, the pidgin chat window stays hidden. With tabbed
browsing, even if a new friend initiates
a chat, the window stays hidden behind the browser unless I happen to notice
it. I use KDE and generally auto-hide
the taskbar. So I never get notified about new messages or conversations. Is
there a config option that causes pidgin
to raise the window and require me to positively ack each new message by
clicking on the window before the window
disappears into background ?

I am running Ubuntu 7.10. pidgin-1.2.2.1-ubuntu4.1

** Affects: pidgin (Ubuntu)
