Public bug reported: Description: Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04
The keyboard layout for Gutsy and Hardy doesn't behave like it did in Feisty. For example, in Feisty, in order to get the " ñ " letter, I used to do { [ Right-Alt + ^ ] + n }, but since Gutsy it doesn't work this way anymore. Now, if I press the same keys combination I get " ~n " which is not what I want. Additionally, before I pressed { [ Right-Alt + ' ] + a } in order to get an " á ", but now I'm getting " ´a " instead. Also, if I press { [ ¨ ] + i } I get " ¨i ", but I expected an " ï " instead. I've noticed this behaviour after doing and update from Feisty to Gutsy, and then from Gutsy to Hardy. As keyboard layout, using "Switzerland German, eliminate dead keys".
