After reinstalling (sudo apt-get --purge remove firefox-3.0 && sudo apt-get install firefox-3.0) firefox from the ubuntu packages, i created a new profile (firefox -P) and started firefox using this new profile. I was able to reproduce the bug ... the same way as before. Have you manage to repro
