The email address is public. Any spam harvester can catch it up. Just
look yourself.
If you don't know how to configure your email client, you should not use
launchpad via email client.

We can't, since the system is totally disfunctional now due to another
update, which completely disabled the update function. The following
problem that occured after the second update and means we cannot update

Please try logging out of launchpad. It hides email addresses when you
log out. This means that bots won't be able to sniff for email unless
they log in.
My response was placed via an email client, so this was just how
launchpad decided to put it in.
