The device is not in current (Karmic) kernels but without hardware, it
cannot be pushed upstream properly.
This bug report is being closed because we received no response to the
previous inquiry for information. Please reopen if this is still an
issue in the current Ubuntu release, Jaunty Jackalop
@grymberg More than a few kernel versions have passed since you first
patched your driver. We are now at 2.6.28 in Jaunty and since your
patch got lost upstream we would like to re-submit but with a current
kernel. If you still have the system and video card and are willing to
help us by testing
the patch was pushed to the kernel buzilla but not to the maintainer
which is the proper channel.

i can't confirm because I don't own that card but the patch looks very logical.

I fixed my problem. I've changed two lines in source of bttv modules. Now I
have recompiled bttv module and everything works good.
