Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: policykit-gnome
if you set your password to expire
sudo passwd john -e
(which will set it to expire after 10 days)
and then use an application with an "Unlock" button, X hangs.
Please note that I am not a programmer so am unable to answer further
technical details.
