I have contacted the debian maintainers to determine the progress of
their build process (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=461806).
If we dont have any luck, I have built the package for intrepid. For
those that would like to test, you can download it from my personal ppa
