Public bug reported: On resume from suspend on a Sony VaioPCG-V505DX , the screen briefly flashes a very corrupt image. The corruption is temporary, lasting only a couple of seconds or so, but it is a bad look nonetheless. Screen corruption is often accompanied by loud beeping (bug #235686), which is an unnecessarily jarring start to an X session.
Suspend to RAM otherwise works fine. lspci: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc M9+ 5C61 [Radeon Mobility 9200 (AGP)] (rev 01) ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Screen corruption on resume from suspend, Sony Vaio https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/240455 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
